Managed services

Managed IT and cybersecurity that stops being a risk decision

Security is usually what blocks everything else. We run the day to day so adding something new is an operational choice, not a gamble. Fully outsourced, or alongside the team you already have.

What is included

Everything the day to day actually requires

Help desk

Unlimited remote support for your people, with on-site dispatch across metro Atlanta. One named account lead who knows your environment.

Network operations

24/7 monitoring, patching, backup verification and proactive remediation. Problems get fixed before they reach your inbox.

Security operations

Endpoint detection and response, email security and continuous threat monitoring, with documentation your insurer or funder can review. That includes data leaving the organization through AI tools, which is a monitoring concern and not only a policy one.

Cloud and identity

Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration, multi-factor enforcement and periodic access reviews. AI features are tenant settings. We configure what is switched on, for whom, and against which data, rather than leaving defaults in place.

Vendor management

We hold your carriers, licenses and renewals accountable so your team does not have to chase them.

Reporting

Quarterly business reviews in language your board, council or CFO already uses. Not a ticket export. Including a current record of which AI features are enabled across the estate, which boards and funders have begun to ask for.

The difference

Two models, and what each one covers

Most technology support is sold in one of two ways. The difference is not effort, it is scope.

How we start

We talk to your team first

Before we touch the environment we sit down with the people running it. Documentation describes what was built. The team describes what it became, and that gap is where the risk lives. Occasionally a client asks us to plan a transition without involving the internal team. We will say plainly why that is a risk, because the knowledge you most need is held by the people you are not talking to. We can work that way if you require it. We will tell you what it costs first.

Engagement models

Two ways to engage

Fully outsourced

We are your IT department. Help desk, operations, security and strategy, with a named senior contact who owns the relationship. Best for organizations with no dedicated technology staff.

Co-managed

Your team keeps the work closest to your business. We cover what is hardest to staff: 24/7 monitoring, security operations, after-hours coverage, and specialist project work. Best for a stretched internal team.

Who this fits

Sized for organizations where technology is critical but not the product

Roughly 25 to 500 users. Below that our model is usually more than you need. Above it, you likely want an internal team with us in a co-managed or advisory role.

How pricing works

Managed IT is priced per user, per month. What moves the number is user count, number of locations, how much security is bundled in, and whether you carry compliance obligations such as HIPAA, CMMC, CJIS or NERC CIP. We quote before you sign rather than after discovery. The monthly fee covers the day to day: help desk, monitoring and security operations. Work outside that scope is quoted and approved by you before it starts, including emergency after-hours remediation, major rollouts, infrastructure overhauls, cloud migrations and compliance projects.

Questions

What executives ask before they switch

Brainchild Technologies prices managed IT per user, per month. Make technology decisions you can defend.

Tell us what is in the way. We will tell you honestly whether the answer is managed services, senior leadership, an AI governance framework, or a second opinion on a decision you have already made. Sometimes the answer is that you do not need us yet.
